Starting Pay $68,000.00
The Project Manager is responsible for directing day-to-day
operations of the federal site program and implementing
programmatic and administrative policies and procedures in order to
attain program goals and objectives. The Project Manager is also
responsible for making programmatic as well as administrative
recommendations to the Director of Contract Operations in
accordance with Didlake's overall goals and objectives; and, serves
as the primary liaison between Didlake Corporate office and its
clients and staff. The Project Manager also serves as a team leader
who is responsible for establishing and maintaining a positive and
constructive team spirit among all Didlake/site staff members
- Directs and reviews the work of all contractor personnel who
process mail each workday to ensure compliance with mail processing
standards and operating procedures and the requirements of this
contract. The Project Manager shall have the authority to
discipline the personnel employed under this contract and to secure
additional resources (personnel, supplies, attire) from the
contractor as needed to meet the requirements of this
contract.
- Recommends to the COTR as appropriate new or proposed revisions
to mail processing guidelines and instructions to ensure efficient
and effective operations.
- Provides on-the-job training in mail processing methods and
procedures to newly assigned messengers and develops visual aids as
required to promote operational efficiency.
- Directs data gathering from various productivity reports on the
volume of interoffice mail pieces processed daily. Completes
required reporting including contract and federal compliance
documents, reports, and analyses as required.
- Resolves working-level complaints and/or problems regarding
incorrectly sorted USPS and interoffice mail resolves all other
operational problems within the scope of this contract and prepares
a response within established time frames to all written service
complaints received by/from the COTR.
- Ensures performance of routine maintenance on mailroom
equipment. Institutes sorting configurations and system changes to
accommodate increased mail volume and Peace Corps organizational
changes.
- Ensures adequate personnel are available to accomplish required
work and initiates replenishment actions for expendable equipment
furnished by the Peace Corps.
- Reviews and implements safety procedures to meet federal and
company standards; monitors activities where accidents may occur,
halting any operation or activity constituting an imminent hazard
to personnel or equipment; assists in the activities of the Safety
Committee by providing technical and administrative support.
- Develops and implements quality control procedures, monitors
the work produced under this contract, and initiates corrective
actions to ensure conformance with established standards and
procedures.
- Reviews, revises and maintains department payroll records.
- Manages department purchasing and inventory.
- Responsible for appropriate conduct and decorum of Didlake
staff as dictated by Company policy and Peace Corps

Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or minimum of three (3) years college-level
coursework plus five (5) years prior supervisory experience in
handling time-sensitive oriented functions with at least three (3)
years in the successful management of a mail and messenger activity
equivalent in scope and complexity is required.Skills and
Abilities:
- Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define
problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid
conclusions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of mail management and current USPS
postal regulations.
- Must have comprehensive knowledge of the operation and use of
personal computers.
- Strong familiarity with federal contracts, budgets, safety, and
personnel management regulations is required.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills to interact, train,
and resolve the personnel issues of mailroom and facility clerk
staff with various disabilities.
- Driving Record is required
