Job Description:

We are seeking an Director of Accounting to join our team and provide assistance with oversight of day-to-day accounting activities and staff development. This position will be located in the corporate headquarters.Director of Accounting Duties:Costpoint 8.0 and Deltek TE Time and Expense and contacts modules preferredOversee AP and cash disbursementsIn-house payroll processingPrepare monthly financials with all related supporting schedules and account reconciliationsOversee and prepare month end journal entriesAd hoc financial reports for management and operationsAudits from government agencies including Annual Financial Review.Bank reports and on-line banking system.Monthly revenue recognition including invoicing and unbilled schedules.Annual Incurred Cost SubmissionDirector of Accounting Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in AccountingMinimum of 10 years, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience to lead a small accounting team.Concentration in government contracts and cost accounting in IDIQ, CPFF, Firm-Fixed Price and T&M contracts.Knowledge of all modules of Costpoint 8 with the exception of Inventory.Understanding of FAR regulations as it pertains to transaction accountingProficient in Excel, ADOBE and Microsoft WordPreferred Qualifications:CPA is a plus but not requiredPersonnel management experienceSalary Range:$150-175 Outstanding benefit package included.
