Description:The Advanced Solutions Group (ASG) is seeking a Project Finance Analyst IV. The selected individual will report to the Division Finance and Business Operations Manager. The Advanced Solutions Group (ASG) provides maritime intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) as well as airborne reconnaissance, with an emphasis on mission capability integration and services and products for the military space domain. Working in high-risk environments, ASG employees leverage full spectrum phenomenology, including sensors and signature detection, to deliver superior technology-driven, mission-responsive ISR collection and associated processing, exploitation, and dissemination solutions to support our nation's security in the space, air, land, and maritime domains. The four operations within ASG provide the critical mass of subject matter expertise needed to develop and transition advanced technology into end-to-end solutions to combat terrorism at home and abroad.The Project Finance Analyst participates in the financial planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of a portfolio of programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination, development, and presentation of the project's financial status to both internal and external customers. Significant interface will be required with the project manager, contract management staff, project accountants, senior technical personnel, project finance lead, as well as other functional organizations.Specific duties include, but are not limited to:Implements financial policies and procedures in support of assigned projectsEstablishes and manages cost/schedule baselinesPrepares internal and external reports on the financial status of assigned programsDevelops and maintains both revenue recognition and management Estimates At Completion (EACs) as required and/or neededCompletes cash flow, profitability, unbilled and other reconciliation and analysis as necessaryPrepares presentation of financial status and performance in internal quarterly In Process Reviews (IPRs)Prepares financial and schedule status for customer's monthly Project Management Review (PMR)Performs subcontractor management activities including preparing purchase requisitions, processing of invoices, and preparation of accrualsParticipates in business proposals, assisting with development of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and providing project projections and input into the cost and management volumesAdheres to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley and other Corporate and Business Unit (BU) financial policies and proceduresEstablishes and maintains project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)Supports Earned Value methodologies as contractually or internally implemented with guidance and direction from ops level managementAssists with risk analysis and mitigation activitiesSupports working groups as neededQualifications:Comprehensive knowledge of the project finance field and the ability to complete difficult and complex assignments. Basic understanding of multiple contract types: FFP, FPLOE, T&M, CPAF, CPFF, and hybrid contracts. Full understanding of basic fundamentals and systems and ability to select appropriate course of action in moderate to moderately complex circumstances. Intermediate collection, organization, and interpretation of data, Statistics, Algebra, and Intermediate Accounting/Finance.Comprehends and communicates complex or technical information at a level to solicit or explain it. Able to communicate this information through written correspondence and reports and tailor communication to audience to the required level of detail and specification.Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Program Management, Accounting or an appropriate related discipline, and a minimum of eight years Project Finance or related experience. Preferred QualificationsExpertise with current Employer financial policies, procedures and applications. Proficient with Employer standard tools for project finance, such as Excel, Costpoint, Cognos, Hyperion, Fusion, etc. Ability to work across organizations and functional areas. Positive attitude and team focus. Individual must be able to obtain a current Secret level Security clearance.Mastery and efficiency of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Hyperion, Deltek CostPoint, Cognos.
