Responsibilities:
Peraton is looking for an experienced Technical Writer who will be responsible for researching and writing user manuals, technical reference manuals and release notes for internally developed software. This will require working collaboratively with all stakeholders to determine and define product requirements. -Job Description:Revises and edits technical documentation as necessaryPlanning, researching, outlining and writing of end-user documentation including, but not limited to, all user manuals, technical manuals/documents, directives, policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), software and infrastructure documentation, Service Level Agreements, Operational Level Agreements, process diagrams and SharePoint documentationConduct research by interviewing subject matter experts, reviewing existing documentation and by gleaning information from the system or product being documentedDevelop and update documentation templates and procedures

Qualifications:
4 years relevant professional experience, or a commensurate combination of education, training and experience in:Editing technical documentsMust have excellent communication and written skillsMust demonstrate ability to work independentlyAbility to understand functional and technical specifications for new productsoust have a solid background in technical terminology for complex, enterprise level systemsThis position requires the candidate to already possess an active Top Secret security clearance -Preferred Skills:Knowledge in various web-based applications and computer languages

Colorado Salary Minimum: $53,100
Colorado Salary Maximum: $128,900
