Digital Media Strategist(Hybrid Schedule)FAIR is searching for a
Digital Media Strategist to support the Digital Team and the
organization by researching and reporting on digital strategies to
increase traffic and engagement on our website and social media
accounts.Responsibilities:
- Tracks, reports and interprets social media, Google Analytics,
and other site data to provide recommendations for new strategies
and tactics to increase effective engagement
- Publishes, reviews, improves, and optimizes content for FAIR's
social media platforms and our website, including blogs, articles,
and social media posts
- Produces monthly internal reports of FAIR's social media
accounts and website with detailed suggestions for improvements to
boost engagement and assists with compiling digital reports and
data for external stakeholders
- Identifies powerful keywords and trending relevant hashtags to
drive traffic
- Develops, plans, and implements effective SEO strategies,
develops link-building strategies
- Assists with the management of digital ad campaigns and
tracking their success
- Assists with mass emails and tracks the data to improve
conversions
- Oversees social media communities by identifying opportunities
to interact with activists and nurture relationships through these
platforms by engaging with followers and working toward
conversions
- Obtains and edits images, tables, charts, and videos for use in
website content with a strong understanding of copyright; and
assists with any digital team task when neededQualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in social media
management and SEO
- Experience managing social media platforms
- Thorough understanding of Google Analytics, Ads, and
traditional digital media KPIs
- Experience in keyword/keyphrase research, building keyword
maps
- Wide-range experience in digital marketing expertise
- Deep knowledge of content management systems and experience
working with mid to large-size websites (1000+
pages/documents)
- Proven experience in social media strategy and execution,
including audience segmentation and content planning
- Solid knowledge of HTML a bonus
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator or other
graphics programs like Canva
- Email marketing experience a plusThis position is at FAIR's
Washington, DC headquarters. The position is exempt, full-time, and
offers generous benefits; the salary range is $68,000 to $80,000,
