Stability. Adaptability. Longevity. PRIMARY FUNCTION: Grounds upkeep including mowing of the property, mulching, tree pruning and light tractor work. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Grass cutting and upkeep of grounds Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance needs including the use of applicable and necessary equipment Perform other duties specified by the Facilities Supervisor, Director of Support Services, or CEO Perform other duties as requested or assigned QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED Prior experience in running and operating zero turn lawn mowers and small tractor Valid Virginia driver’s license and a good driving record Positive safety record Must demonstrate sensitivity to Elk Hill’s service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Good general health with ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a times Must be able to traverse property and access and navigate all areas of the facilities Must be able to access all parts of the company equipment Must be able to work in various weather conditions and in various outdoor and indoor conditions Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is at the forefront of what we do at Elk Hill, and we enforce respectful communication and cooperation between all.
