Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to serve
students in grades 8 through 12 at a school campus located in
Manassas, VA. This role follows the school calendar schedule with
the academic year extending through June 12, 2025. The position
offers the chance to provide direct therapy services and
collaborate with school staff in a supportive educational
environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language therapy
services to students in grades 8-12 in accordance with
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Conduct assessments,
document student progress, and communicate regularly with
educators, parents, and other professionals. Participate in school
activities, meetings, and provide compensatory or after-school
services as needed with prior approval. Adapt therapy approaches to
meet a diverse student population within a school setting.
Qualifications: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in
Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working as an SLP in school
settings, preferably with secondary students. Strong skills in
speech-language evaluation, intervention planning, and progress
monitoring. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to
work effectively with students, families, and school teams.
Schedule and Work Details: Full-time position based on the school
year calendar. 5 days per week, approximately 37.5 hours per week
with a maximum of 7.5 hours per day. Includes teacher workdays
which may be completed virtually if approved. Allows for virtual
work during snow days with prior approval. Lunch break of 30
minutes (unpaid). Additional billable hours for after-school
