SIGINT Chief Engineer:
Perspecta is seeking a Chief Engineer to Lead, direct, and support
Systems Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) efforts for major
SIGINT system acquisitions and capability delivery. The candidate
will provide technical support, consultation, and mentorship to
accomplished engineers supporting multiple major SIGINT system
acquisitions. These efforts will span both established and emerging
SIGINT system acquisition initiatives.
Additional technical support will be provided for: assessing
requirements, CONOPs, architecture products, system schedules, and
risks, and supporting test and verification strategy and the system
integration of new initiatives in support of expanded mission
The selected candidate will have the aptitude to assess processes
and create efficiencies across SIGINT project teams. Due to the
broad nature of the team workload, the selected candidate will
ideally have knowledge in the SIGINT mission domain and space
system capabilities, including general knowledge of the Tasking,
Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED)
process, with significant experience and detailed knowledge in at
least a few aspects of that process.
The candidate will interact with several government enterprise
systems engineers and stakeholders, as well as multiple Acquisition
Offices (AOs) and government and contractor stakeholders to drive
resolution plans and strategies for complex technical
The candidate will also support the SIGINT Capability Program
Manager with strategic planning for future capability acquisition
and insertion into the enterprise baseline.
* Requires 16+ years with BS/BA or 14+ years with MS/MA or 10+
years with Ph.D.
* Possess a current and active TS/SCI security clearance.
* Significant technical experience working with SIGINT systems.
* Understanding of the TCPED process.
* Demonstrated technical leadership integrated engineering
* Experience with Systems Engineering and all related functional
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience developing and conducting briefings for senior level
* Experience with MBSE, SysML, and digital tools is preferred.
* Prior experience and understanding of agile development
methodologies and supporting tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence).
* Experience with requirements closure, solution demos, and
VV&T strategies that align to an agile development
