This is an IT Service Management contract in support of the operation, modernization, expansion, and further evolution of the ARNG's global Information Technology (IT) services including networking, compute, storage, infrastructure, applications, hosting, and program management services. - The GECOS program supports the ARNG enterprise IT infrastructure, its Wide Area Network (WAN), authentication and directory services, cybersecurity, application hosting, and associated services. GECOS uses ITIL best practices framework as the basis for IT Service Management (ITSM) model.The Hosting Engineer will:

• Responsible for the application, administration, security, and engineering service and support for Web Services, Data Processing, ITSM, IPN, and Content/Knowledge Management Portals.
• Performs administration and maintenance of application, infrastructure, and servers supporting Web Services, Data Processing, ITSM, IPN, and Content/Knowledge Management Portals.
• Manages critical servers and systems, and ensures services are available and operational in multiple virtualized hosting environments including production, pre-production, and COOP.
• Provides cloud migration support to the Army's required hosting environment (e.g., cARMY-Azure) for all cloud-related IT environments/applications and uses and leverages services such laaS and PaaS design patterns across Development, Testing, Staging, and Production environments.
• Maintains security compliance within the virtualized hosting environment.
• This includes documentation, IAVA management, STIG compliance, and following security best practices in support of the RMF, ATO, and CCRI.
• Develops requirements for support applications including dashboard display, process automation, and interface applications.
• Prototypes applications to assess impact within the infrastructure.
• Develops and tests applications including interface applications for transferring data with other Government entities, as approved.
• Deploys and integrates applications within the infrastructure.
• Plans for and ensures the orchestration with other applications within the infrastructure and with applications outside the infrastructure.
• Proposes, tests, implements, integrates, operates, maintains, and improves ticketing and incident tracking system(s).QUALIFICATIONS: -Required Skills and Experience: -
