Plans, evaluates, and coordinates installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of data and/or voice communication network. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of networks and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.May propose solutions to management to ensure all communications requirements based on future needs and current usage, configuring such solutions to optimize cost savings. Prepares or ensures that appropriate network documentation exists, including operational instructions. Provides regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short- and long-range planning for in-house systems. May coordinate third-party maintenance for network equipment. May design network or portion of network that include selection of hardware and software packages.**Basic Qualifications:**A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:+ Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2023.+ Be majoring in B.S. or B.A. degree (Software Engineering or Computer Science)+ Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)+ Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2023+ Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) and the ability to obtain and retain Special Program access clearance within 365 days from submission.**Preferred Qualifications:**+ Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher+ Experience with high level computer languages, SQL databases, UI design/development, and Azure DevOps or TFS+ Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)**The pay ranges for this specific opportunity are as follows:**+ **Undergraduate degrees** (Including graduating students planning on attending/enrolled in a full-time Master's program): $24.00 - $29.75+ **Masters degrees:** $35.25 - 37.50**The health and safety of our employees and their families is a top priority** .
