The National Systems Group serves as the technical advisor to the Intelligence Community and its mission partners involved in the collection and distribution of national and tactical intelligence, including electronics programs, advanced technologies, ground and communications, imagery programs, and systems engineering and launch. Be there at the start! Exciting opportunity to Shape the Future of space resilience technology as the Aerospace Lead for a new, next-generation Government space acquisition program. We are looking for a dynamic leader to proactively leverage world-class Aerospace expertise to influence requirements development, acquisition strategy, and technology development to build the foundation for this critical space acquisition program. Lead industry engagement activities, collaborate with Government partners, and Senior leadership to establish achievable technical goals to enable mission success. Additionally, you will collaborate with ETG and technology development partners across industry to identify and cultivate the leading edge of resilience technologies for implementation on future missions.What You'll Be Doing

  • Working shoulder-to-shoulder with Government & SETA counterparts to build the program office team for a critically important National space acquisition program
  • Building and leading, a high-impact, focused ETG team of subject matter experts influencing the mission requirements development for critical technology areas
  • Working across the customer enterprise, Aerospace backplane, and with industry partners in a high velocity environment to build the acquisition baseline for this next-generation resilience program
  • Establishing relationships with internal and external customers and among development contractors through high-value technical assessments, pragmatic recommendations as well as consistent open communication.
  • Identifying critical, space resilience enabling technologies and cultivating technology maturation for system implementation
  • Leveraging Aerospace technical capabilities and resources to influence development and refinement of resilience technology roadmap investmentsWhat You Need to be Successful Minimum Requirements:
    • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, science, or mathematics from an accredited institution
    • 12 or more years of increasingly responsible professional engineering/scientific experience, including multi-disciplinary systems engineering and/or program management environments
    • Direct experience with National Security Space systems design, manufacture, integration and / or test with demonstrable results
    • Proven ability to collaborate with engineering resources to develop technical positions, provide risk assessments and formulate associated courses of action
    • Superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative on-site office environment with the Government customer, SETA personnel, and prime contractor
    • Ability to support some routine travel
    • This position requires a current and active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.How You Can Stand OutIt would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
