Job Title: SR Lead Engineer - Federal (Inside Plant (ISP) The Sr Lead Engineer will be requested to research, development, and design Engineering Design Packages for Cisco Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM), Alpha DC power and Cisco Ethernet packet hardware. The engineer will perform site surveys and develop the best solution for deploymentThe Main Responsibilities

• Perform site surveys
• Attending customer meetings
• Produces Engineering Design Packages (EDP)
• Review and update As-Build documentation
• Develop Bill of Material for installation of communication hardware
• Creates, updates, and reviews technical documentation
• Assists installation team when necessary
• Handle complex engineering assignments.
• Provide functional guidance, supervision, technical support, training, and quality assurance/control as required
• Evaluate equipment and associated network performance, and recommend network improvements and design changes
• Work closely with the Government and suppliers on requirements, design, and proposal development
• Perform project technology studies, budget estimates, and develop project schedulesWhat We Look For in a Candidate
  Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to effectively interview technical contacts for content information
  • Knowledge of optical dispersion and experience with dispersion testing helpful
  • Knowledge of Cisco DWDM FLEX/CCOF, ASR99XX, Cisco 57D2/C3 equipment desirable
  • Microsoft Suite
  • CCNA DesirableEducation and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related field or equivalent experience
    • At least five years applicable engineering design an implementation experience
    • Experience with deployment of hardware into a CER
    • Experience with Ethernet deployment helpfulSecurity Requirements:
      • US Citizenship required
      • Day one must have Active TS/SCI Candidate will be required to go through a Poly
      • Must maintain eligibility requirements for access to classified information (applicants selected will be subject to a government security re-investigation)Other Requirements:
