Perspecta is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories Responsibilities Description: This Systems Engineering and Integration for the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) program delivers systems integration and engineering services to the missions of the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG). Program efforts span the full life-cycle from concept definition through capability delivery and retirement. The LSE project team performs the full range of technical planning, systems engineering, and integration activities to include delivery of critical technical documents and artifacts, while maintaining a strong awareness of technical IT, GEOINT domain, and TPED (Tasking, Processing, Exploitation, Dissemination) trends. Responsibilities include the following: The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience performing technical editing of multiple project documents and artifacts to ensure clear and consistent language, grammar, and formatting across documents. The Technical Editor will work with government points of contact, program architects, and other engineers to edit technical documents for clear communication with various audiences, including senior executives, portfolio managers, users, and external stakeholders. The Technical Editor will work closely with enterprise and systems architects to ensure consistent documentation of mission outcomes, capabilities, and architecture views to best convey the intended message and describe the benefits and features that meet mission needs. Ideally, the successful candidate will have broad knowledge of the NGA and other Intelligence Community (IC) architectures and missions, both current and future. Additionally, strong communication skills are required for both customers and fellow architects alike. The successful candidate should be able to work independently and proactively communicate with the program and customer architects and engineering project personnel. Qualifications Required Qualifications: TS/SCI clearance Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience 6+ years of related experience in technical writing / editing Experience translating content in complex technical documents into clear and consistent and easily understandable technical information Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word Technical / engineering documentation experience Excellent written communication skills Desired Qualifications: Experience supporting customers within the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence, IC, and DoD Options
