Description: IAI is currently seeking a Parts, Materials, Processes, and Design Assurance Engineer in support of our Chantilly, VA client. Our PMPDA Engineer will have experience with experience supporting a major acquisition system program office. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, physics, or other technical field. Key skills include knowledge of spacecraft reliability and design assurance principles, and past experience with SIGINT systems (desired). Work is on the LS3 contract in NRO/LSPO. Qualifications: 8-10 years' experience with space systems acquisition BS in Engineering, Physics or Related Technical Discipline Active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance Domain knowledge in many of the following PMPDA areas: Verification of Reliability, Maintainability, Design Life, and EMI/EMC requirements Radiation Vulnerability Assessment and nuclear hardening ("Hardness Assurance") Worst Case Analysis Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) Probability of Success assessments Mission Assurance Parts failure mode / failure rate analysis (semiconductors, capacitors, resistors, etc.) Single Point Failure design criteria and prevention Ground segment Mean Time to Repair assessments Technology Insertion Board member Manufacturing process assessment Printed Circuit Board design and production methods EMI/EMC radiated and conducted emissions - effects and susceptibilities RF isolation techniques EMI/EMC test, shielding, and filtering methods Depending upon the candidate's location, 10-25% travel may be required Desired Qualifications: Major space system acquisition experience Ability to work in fast paced environment Excellent oral and written communication skills Self-starter who can collaborate in a team environment Knowledge of the NRO and its processes Integrity Applications Incorporated is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
