Job DescriptionKBR is looking for an executive engineer/project management leader to provide and develop vision and strategy for our Digital Engineering (DE) journey. We are rapidly growing a team of digital acquisition, engineering, and sustainment experts to help the Air Force grow into at DE heavy environment and want a coherent strategy as we continue our investments. KBR is known for DE contributions and wants to maintain its leadership of this area. The Digital Engineering Executive will have the following responsibilities:Develop and maintain digital engineering vision and strategy for KBRAssist customers develop digital engineering vision, strategies, and implementationsRecommend DE processes, tools, and capabilities for AFLCMC, DoD, other government agencies, and industryEnsure organic training processes provide knowledge needed for KBR to excel in a Digital EnvironmentProvide strategic insights to develop a Digital Enterprise from capabilities and requirements through system disposalBuild strategy to recruit and develop a team of senior and junior engineers and experts to grow our organic and support capabilityManage $2M - 6M budget to exceed customer goals while helping KBR grow organic capability to provide DE solutionsProvide regular technical and management reports to government and KBR leadershipIdentify and recommend partners for unique or specialized requirementsSupport DoD and KBR Digital engineering strategies, forums, conferences, and advance our leadership expertise in this fieldEXPERIENCE & TRAINING: Bachelors of Engineering, and Master Degree in Systems Engineering/Management or a related field or equivalent experience. 12+years of applicable progressively complex systems modeling design experience, including modeling hardware and software integration of complex systems.At least 10 years of experience in Model Based Systems Engineering for USAF/DOD and industry programsExperience working within engineering practices of multiple organizationsDAWIA certification of at least level 2 in Sys Engineering (SPRDE) (preferred level 3 and at least level 2 in PM (Desired)Recent experience in model based systems engineering or digital engineering tools including architecting or SysMLSecret (TS/SCI eligible preferred) Clearance eligible
