Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Classification Management Officer3 (CMO 3) to join our team in the Chantilly, VA area to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: The Classification Management Officer (CMO 3) provides comprehensive classification management guidance in accordance with National Security guidelines and ICD 710, Classification and Control Markings System
Develop and maintain all classification guides to include Special Access Programs (SAP)
Be the classification expert and fluent on all classification management matters, including mission partners caveats, across all program aspects
Advise and assist security personnel, senior management, assignees, mission partners, and industry on classification management matters
Analyze, ascertain, and resolve conflicts relative to interpretation of classification management and security policy guidance
Review Intelligence Community (IC) policy documents, and provide highlights of pertinent sections to senior customer leadership
Create, modify, and maintain the security briefing packages such that they are current, accurate, and complete
Conduct security briefings and education/ to senior customer leadership training with personnel, mission partners and industry partners. Briefings will include legacy, historical, and current information
Coordinate and resolve Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests
Provide classification, control marking, and dissemination principles knowledge
Generate, track, coordinate and respond to action items in a timely manner
Research and write protection guidance products for customer programs and assets
Identify and assess sources for classification determinations Position Requirements:
--- Masters Degree and 5 years' experience or Bachelor's Degree and 8 years' experience or Associates and 12 years' experience or High School Diploma and 16 years' experience
--- Demonstrated knowledge of SCI arena
--- Thorough understanding of IC and DoD regulatory guidance
--- Excellent writing and research skills
--- Previous experience providing protection guidance to federal customer highly preferred Security Requirements:
Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph Physical requirements: Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer #LI-CW1 For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
