New Virginia Majority is looking for a Data and Compliance Manager
to support New Virginia Majority in running efficient and impactful
voter engagement programs.Ideal candidates will be highly
organized, detail-oriented and self-starters who have proven
leadership and management skills.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working knowledge and integration of
VAN/Votebuilder/Nationbuilder/CRMS/CMS/ are a plusMatch and append
data collected in the field using Catalist tools, Blue HQ, and
NGP_VANMaintain databases: NGP/VAN and HustleGenerate reports and
field statistics including but not limited to: voter registrations,
canvass accountability, phone calls, door knocks, data entry
accountability, volunteer recruitmentCreate, adjust, and utilize
targeting for door knocking and volunteer recruitmentChecking data
for accuracyCreating and issuing regular data based
reportsAssisting with program design and implementationWorking with
other staff to meet program goalsQUALIFICATIONS:
Committed to New Virginia Majority's
mission of social, racial and economic justiceDemonstrated
experience and leadership in managing a comprehensive strategic
communications, media relations, and marketing program to advance
the organization's mission and goalsExcellent verbal and written
skillsExperience with how digital communications and organizing can
be incorporated into communicationsExperience with or understanding
of grassroots organizingAbility to develop and maintain a variety
of relationships on a variety of levels.Demonstrated ability to
meet multiple deadlines; able to develop and move projects forward
with independence and autonomy.Self-motivated and works well both
independently and on a teamAbility to prioritize, meet deadlines,
manage multiple projectsMust be able to think critically (out of
the box) and also be able to pay complete attention to
detailsAbility to take direction and constructive feedbackBilingual
in Spanish and English languages is preferredCOMPENSATION AND
BENEFITS:Annual salary $63,000 to $73,000 commensurate with
experience, and comes with an excellent benefits package.NVM covers
100% of the individual cost and 75% of the family cost for medical,
dental, life, and short-term disability insurance for full time
employees. Additional benefits include family and medical leave,
retirement program with employer match, accruable paid vacation and
sick leave, and monthly transportation and cell phone allowances.
