Job Description:
Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a NOC Tier II Tech
Incident Management.
Position Type: Contract
Duration: Long Term (2+years)
Location: Chantilly, VA 20151 (Onsite)
As a NOC Tier II Tech Incident Management, you will:
Major purpose:
Provide 7x24x365 Tier II technical support for customer's WAN and
LAN networks. Position open for all three shifts.
Technicians will be responsible for monitoring, reporting and Tier
II repair of the networks using tools such as HP OpenView.
Technicians must have good verbal and writing skills.
Major functions:
Communicate with customers, engineers and management during trouble
resolution or escalation.
Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or
upgrades.
Update database(s) and documentation as part of the repair
effort.
Monitor and analyze network performance and data input/output
reports to detect problems.
Hands on experience with network switches and routers
Strong network troubleshooting experience.
Familiarity with Incident Management processes
Technical/Functional skills:
Knowledge of Cisco Internetwork Operating System (IOS), Juniper
JUNOS, Brocade, and Foundry Operating System (OS)
Strong familiarity with Layer 3 protocols such as Open Shortest
Path First (OSPF), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Enhanced Interior
Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Virtual Router Redundancy
Protocol (VRRP), Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP), Multiprotocol
Label Switching (MPLS), Label-switched Path (LSP), Virtual Route
Forwarding (VRF), and Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE)
Familiarity with Microsoft Visio and ServiceNow
Familiarity with HP/Microfocus network tools, such as Network Node
Manager (NNM), Network Automation (NA), Operations Bridge Manager
(OBM), etc.
Education/Experience/Licenses etc.:
Candidate must have 10 years of related/relevant work experience
that can be a combination of work history and education.
This equates s to a master's and 4 years, bachelor's and 6 years,
Associates and 8 years or HS and 10 years of experience that can be
a combination of work history and education.
Must comply with DoD 8570 IAT Level 2.
Clearance Required: Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly.
The ideal candidate will have Active Top Secret/SCI with CI
Poly.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $50-$60/hr on W2.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
