10%Clearance Required:Active SecretWhat You Will Do: Guidehouse is
responsible for providing agile project management support for the
development and maintenance of a global information system for our
client at the Department of State. As part of a Project Management
Office (PMO), the IT Project Manager is responsible to coordinate
with multiple stakeholders (business owners, development team
members, etc.); defining requirements; identify process
improvements; manage scope, schedule, and risk; conduct testing;
and report project status to stakeholders. As part of an agile
team, the IT Project Manager will maintain the product backlog,
refine user stories with business owners and developers, establish
and maintain the release plan, and demonstrate completed
functionality to stakeholders.What You Will Need:
- An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Four (4) or more years of relevant experience, including 3
years in Agile/Project ManagementWhat Would Be Nice To Have:
- PMP Certification
- Agile Certification (Scrum Master, SAFe, Product Owner,
etc.)
- Project management knowledge and experience on IT-related
projects with priority given to the use of an Agile
methodology
- Experience using Agile Scrum and/or Kanban methodology to plan
and manage work against iterations and releases
- Experience monitoring project progress and implementing
effective corrective actions if actual progress falls behind the
plan
- Experience meeting with clients of varying levels to gather,
document, prioritize, and analyze system specifications and user
requirements, working closely with developers and testers in a
fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to use effective facilitation skills and
techniques to elicit requirements from a diverse range of
stakeholders
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to offer solutions and articulate the
business impact to clients in a clear and concise manner
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others in a
