Can you manage a team of Proposal Specialists to ensure they provide accurate sales team support and deliver timely responses to Government Request for Proposals (RFPs)/Request for Quotes (RFQs)/ Request for Information (RFIs), IAW Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Agency supplements? In this role, the Sr. Manager of Proposal leads highly professional team member(s) who provide opportunity lifecycle management for all proposals and strategic opportunities in the Enterprise Sales verticals, including SMB Field Sales and Telesales, Gov Ed, Healthcare, Hospitality, Major National Accounts, System Integrator, Value Added Resellers and Carrier. Working in conjunction with the sales teams, the Senior Manager coordinates cross-functional efforts on specific client opportunities - mostly federal. The Senior Manager ensures that all proposal processes are established/updated and followed and that management reporting needs are met. He/She also serves as the primary point of escalation, interfaces with other cross functional areas, and is prepared to support the Sales Teams in customer negotiation strategy sessions as necessary.

Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Manage team of Proposal Manager(s) and Senior Proposal Specialist(s) responsible for end-to-end coordinator of opportunities throughout the opportunity lifecycle management process.Obtain documented approvals for special pricing, special terms and legal/contract issues, project management, engineering, and operations from key stakeholders. Facilitate regular executive status meetings across multiple internal and external organizations to obtain key stakeholder approvals and resolve critical issues. Develop winning strategies and drive opportunities to successful completion through collaboration with Sales, Security, Contracts Compliance and Engineering leadership. You lead the development of enticing client proposals and seize on strategic opportunities. Using your sharp business acumen and client-centric focus, you boost sales across multiple verticals. You collaborate with teams in person and digitally within an office environment supporting client negotiations and strategy sessions.

  • Lead the coordination of end-to-end management of the sales opportunity lifecycle process for multiple cross-functional opportunities simultaneously.

  • Obtain documented approvals for special pricing, special terms, legal and contract issues.

  • Develop winning strategies and drive opportunities to successful completion through collaboration with Sales leadership.

  • Provide status and metric reports on opportunities and associated project activities and results.

  • Verify that the final content for submissions is grammatically correct and formatted consistently.

  • Submit status and metric reporting on key performance indicators and client account trends.

    Required Qualifications

    • Strong organization, prioritization, negotiation, and communication skills.

    • Analytical leader requiring minimum direction; Able to facilitate the resolution of complex technical, financial, legal and process issues; Expert at identifying, quantifying, and prioritizing risk.

    • Ability to work within a diverse team and boundary partners

    • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously

    • Ability to ensure pricing compliance with all proposals or quotes

    • Ability to build FAR compliant proposals

    • Identify, quantify, and prioritize risks for opportunities as they arise throughout the opportunity management process

    • Ability to develop and deliver opportunity status presentations for executive level review

    • Ability to develop and/or improve the opportunity management process to obtain efficiencies in handling workflow

    • Strong analytical skills combined with critical thinking

    • Highly proficient with project management, Office Tools, and Presentations Tools

      Required Education

      • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field

        Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years

        • Five or more years of experience leading cross-functional teams; Five or more years of project management or sales leadership experience; Seven or more years of Federal Proposal Management; Seven or more years of telecommunications experience.

          Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

          • Experience with sales contracts. Experience developing offer management strategies and PWin analysis.

          • Fluent in government procurement, contracting, acquisition, FAR/DFARS regulations

          • Track record of building solid strategic partner relationships within the federal industry.

            Preferred Education

            • Master's degree in business or finance preferred

              Preferred Related Work Experience and Number of Years

              • Master's degree in a related field.

              • PMP certification.

              • AMP Proposal Certification
