FTS has an opportunity for a Risk Management Systems Engineer in Chantilly, VA. The Risk Management Systems Engineer provides systems engineering and technical advisory services. Responsibilities * Lead the risk issue and opportunity (RIO) process as part of the risk management team * Interface with the various site and enterprise level Risk Management boards * Interact with Technical Planning Guidance team, architecture steering group, other strategic forums tied to new acquisitions * Develop assessments and briefings for a variety of audiences, convey information in a clear and articulate manner to Government leadership Required Skills/Qualifications * TS/SCI with polygraph * BS STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) in engineering discipline * 3+ years' relevant experience * System engineering life cycle experience; familiar with requirements development, interface control documentation, technical specification review, architecture and CONOPS development * Ability to work independently to support multiple government customers and large, complex projects to address organization's needs throughout system development lifecycle * Self-starter, readily addresses customer requirements with minimal supervision; defines solutions for broad, abstract topics * Motivated to learn, readily applies and shares knowledge * Polished communicator (written/verbal), impeccable interpersonal skills and personal judgment * Proactive at collaboration and coordination with multiple stakeholders -- consensus builder Desired Skills/Qualifications * MS STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) in engineering discipline * 1+ years' relevant experience * Direct and current experience with National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) * Knowledge of GEOINT and SIGINT overall space and ground architecture * Familiar with Digital Engineering/Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Agile development, cloud technologies, government technical standards * Project management experience with delivered systems FTS International, LLC is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer that does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, religion, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by local, state, or federal laws, rules, or regulations.
