The IMS Division provides cyber solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations.-- Our customers have high standards, are technically adept, and use our products daily to support their mission of protecting national security. Project Manager supports an IT Program Management Office providing systems engineering, cyber security, and operations and maintenance activities. Responsible for the performance of technical projects in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. Directs and supervises all support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities. Manage the technical direction and cost of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives. Responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned projects and for supporting new business development by leading relatively small proposals or assisting with major proposals. Develop and manage project plans and schedules that comply with the program's Statement of Work (SOW) and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Work with DoD clients to establish and monitor the program---s execution towards milestones, key events, and significant accomplishment criteria. Work closely with contractors, government program office personnel, and other program office support staff to effectively integrate, maintain, and control project plans and schedules. Develop well-defined schedules based on standard business best practices working with cross functional teams to develop the details necessary to complete analytical, schedule, and risk assessments. Participate in monthly program reviews, provide schedule and analysis feedback to clients, and apply experience and insight to the execution and scheduling of the overall project management service offering.-- Responsibilities include but not limited to: * This team delivers Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, Systems Administration and ITIL Service Transition Lead projects by developing project plans, developing/maintaining schedules, tracking progress, analyzing results and reporting * Responsible for developing and managing a Program Level Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) * Planning, scheduling, and updating program activities in MS Project and other tracking tools (i.e Microsoft Excel or SharePoint) * Establish milestones and baselines and monitoring adherence to program master plans and schedules * Identify high risk areas and presenting recommendations to management * Analyze and manage program metrics to ensure that schedule are in accordance with customer guidelines * Lead teams in executing project tasks/activities, supervise work completion, perform quality reviews and report progress * Supervise other project managers and deputy project managers on the project management team * Approve timesheets, complete employee evaluations, interview staff and assist with personnel management * Serve as Project Manager supporting all areas of customer delivery and personnel management * Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly status reports * Analyze project status data and to recommend corrective actions * Build and maintain influential relationships with key client personnel * Support corporate functions (time reporting, policies, etc.) * Support and promote growth of new and Task Orders to include proposal support as required Position Requirements: * Requires Bachelor---s degree or equivalent, and ten to twelve years of related experience * Experience managing technology projects from inception to completion * Experience managing Microsoft technology projects from inception to completion * Experience identifying and performing schedule risk analysis * Experience establishing/maintaining schedule templates, processes, and procedures * Ability to work with minimal supervision * IT technical knowledge and experience * Project management certification desired Security Requirements: US Citizenship with an active Top Secret clearance required Qualifications Requires Bachelor---s degree or equivalent, and ten to twelve years of related (technical environment) experience.
