The Director of Program Operations collaborates with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans. The Director of Program Operations has overall responsibilities for managing and ensuring contractual compliance, program performance, employee relations and development, cost management, proposal support for DoD, IC, and Commercial customers. Requires a proven ability to attract, retain and motivate maximum performance of high performance strategic growth teams. Duties include, but not limited to: * Optimize execution of all contracts; mentor servant leadership to program managers (PMs), team leads, and subject matter experts * Identify future leaders to participate in contract/corporate succession plans * Executes the LRSP by maximizing profitability and organic growth while developing spinoff opportunities to increase System High---s base * Achieve exceptional CPARs and maximum award fees * Implement strict budgetary controls by influencing processes and polices * Maximize team performance and help position and sustain our services to become invaluable to current and new customers * Leverage extreme tact, diplomacy, and critical thinking to become the trusted advisor to current / future customers and corporate leadership * Assist PMs develop and execute recompete strategies to maintain 100% wins * Designs, implements, and executes a fully comprehensive Program Operations methodology aligning effectively with System High---s mission, vision, and strategic growth goals. * Align program performance goals with organizational strategic objectives for operational efficiency and increased productivity * Responsible for overall profit and loss across programs within the company working with respective managers in developing and executing program cost management * Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions and holding onsite management accountable for improvement * Capitalize upon and deliver recommendations for internal corporate resources and day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives * Build and manage relationships with all government and commercial customers, program workforce, corporate department heads, and external partners influencing decisions regarding operational activities and strategic goals * Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure ability to make data-driven decisions and deliver evidence-based solutions to our customers. * Devise strategies to ensure growth of programs enterprise-wide, identifying a Required Skills (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) * Proven Servant leadership skills used to maximize performance and productivity * Critical thinking and application of thought leadership - proven ability to develop innovative solutions * Must be able to comprehend corporate capabilities and apply them to customer protection challenges; embrace and live the Burn Blue culture * Superior negotiation skills in both internal and external settings * Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics * Must have ability to effectively present information to senior corporate management, government officials, prospects, and large groups * Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, demonstrated by previous professional success * Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact/influence/negotiate effectively at all levels of management and peers * Ability to shift in and out of operational and leadership roles Professional Business Functions * Ability to constructively engage and resolve challenging situations * Available to work before/after typical office hours * Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Ability to influence teams to solve complex challenges * Strong project management Clearance * Active TS/SCI required * Documentation to obtain clearance must be turned into Security Department within 45 days from hire * Subject to a random counter-intelligence scope polygraphs as a condition of access eligibility. Years of Experience/Education Requirements * Minimum of 10 years in Business Management, or Operational experience in government contracting industry or similar industry experience * Experience must include at least 3 years of successful operational management and execution within the government contracting industry * Direct experience within security or intelligence disciplines is strongly preferred * Bachelor---s degree or higher in Business, Management, or relevant field of discipline desired Certifications * PMP desired Top Secret/SCI
