Job Description:

The Vice President of Strategic Growth is responsible for guiding the identification of new business opportunities to achieve the overall objectives of the corporate Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) and associated revenue and profit targets. This position requires a 'hands on' leader who has the established credibility, and access to a wide variety of national security and commercial communities as well as current insight to customer and competitive landscapes.

Responsibilities include developing capture strategies, overseeing strategic initiatives, managing proposal teams and developing marketing strategies. Must be able to work with a variety of organizational leaders to build consensus around growth strategies and tactics with a demonstrated track record of pulling together superior teams to deliver winning proposals and execution. Requires a proven ability to attract, retain and motivate maximum performance of high performance strategic growth teams.

Duties include, but not limited to: Designs, implements, and executes a fully comprehensive and revolutionary Business Development (BD) program aligning effectively with Company's mission, vision, and strategic growth goals. Develops BD plans and strategies to support the achievement of overall Company's business objectives based on research into the market, customer trends, and competition in the market Establishes the company BD pipeline assessing internal company synergies, probability of win, and required resources and investment based on Company's mission and LSRP. Leads the capture of new and organic business awards through developing strategic partnerships, teams, and solutions responsive to the customer needs Leads sound BD processes to effectively streamline pipeline administration, capture management, and proposal development and operations in the pursuit of achieving LRSP objectives. Delivers regular briefings to senior corporate leadership outlining BD program effectiveness. POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Required Skills (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) Proven track record of successful lead generation, prospect management and winning competitions - passionately grow the business by leveraging relationships founded on trust and integrity Must be able to comprehend corporate capabilities and apply them to customer protection challenges; embrace and live the Burn Blue culture Excellent verbal and written communication skills compounded with exceptional collaboration, negotiations, organizational and critical thinking skills Proven track record of collecting real time intelligence and using it to help develop critical demand solutions and winning capture strategies Possess and grow a thriving business network utilized to increase market share by improving Company’s access, brand, and credibility Must have ability to effectively present information and represent Company to C-Level leadership, prospects, and/or public forums Professional Business Functions Ability to constructively engage and resolve challenging situations Available to work before/after typical office hours Independent self-starter, proactive and professionally assertive Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to influence teams to solve complex challenges Strong project management Clearance Active TS/SCI required Documentation to obtain clearance must be turned into Security Department within 45 days from hire Subject to a random counter-intelligence scope polygraphs as a condition of access eligibility. Years of Experience/Education Requirements Minimum of 10 years in Business Development, Management, or Operational experience in government contracting industry or similar industry experience Experience must include at least 5 years of business development strategy and execution Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Management, or relevant field of discipline desired Certifications PMP strongly desired Business Development Certification from accredited institution Travel Requirements Frequent travel to various program sites as necessary to ensure sound program execution Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS
