Job Description:
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified PICU RN in Washington, Washington DC, 20010! Pay
Information $3,921 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Critical
Care Float Pool Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Night Hours per
Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of recent PICU or CVPICU
experience required License: Valid state license required at time
of assignment Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have: Strong PICU
experience and comfortable floating to CVPICU and NICU Description:
Please note that for all contracts involving 4x12 shifts, overtime
will be billed after 48 hours. Ratios are typically 1:1 or 1:2; if
they float to NICU, it could be 1:3. Weekend requirements include
every other weekend. First-time travelers are accepted. No on-call
requirements. Floating will occur to meet facility needs.
Accommodations for block scheduling are available. Local nurses are
accepted. Pending licenses can be accepted if proof of application
is provided. RTO restrictions allow for a maximum of 7 days.
Special requirements include a strong experience in PICU. Facility
highlights include being a Magnet, teaching institution, and Level
I trauma center. No age cut-off exists; nurses may work with
patients of any age. Compliance is due the Monday prior to the
start date, with no pending items. It is a non-smoking facility
with zero tolerance for smoking. There are no license or background
hits allowed. Modules are not billable and a minimum of 20 hours of
modules is required. Pre-start modules must be completed prior to
orientation. If a nurse has held previous employment, they must be
gone for a minimum of 1 year before returning. If offered and
accepted, a photo is required along with the signature. The photo
should be current and face forward against a plain background.
