working with Cynet Health to find a qualified EP Lab RN in
Richmond, Virginia, 23219! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Electrophysiology Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum
of 1 year in electrophysiology License: Active RN license required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Competence in scrubbing,
circulating, and monitoring in electrophysiology procedures.
Experience with multiple ablation types (AFib, SVT, epicardial VT,
PVC, AFLutter) and devices (ICDs, pacemakers, Micra, SICD). Ability
to perform procedures including pericardial taps and
cardioversions. Experience in a busy electrophysiology lab with
stamina and skills to meet unit expectations. Familiarity with
specific equipment: Biosense Webster, Siemens ultrasound, GE
CardioLab, and X-ray systems. Description: This position involves
working in an electrophysiology lab. RNs will work 40 hours per
week on day shifts. Late shifts may be required 1-2 times per week.
RNs will stay until procedures are completed, and there is no
weekend requirement. Holiday call may be required during the
summer. Candidates should have experience with implantable devices
and complex ablations. The unit serves as a referral center for
complex patients. Anesthesia coverage is provided for 95% of
procedures. The lab typically conducts 6-12 procedures daily.
Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services,
and pharmacy. Candidates must be familiar with EPIC charting.
References required from previous employers will be needed. The
average turnaround for background checks is 15-20 business days.
Candidates cannot start with results pending. Modules will be
assigned during orientation and are required to be completed
