Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Washington, DC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,206 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 9 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 9 Months Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: 2 Years Acute Care Operating Room Experience Required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district required Certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS Required; BSN Highly Desired Must-Have: - Must live 50 miles away - On-call: nights, weekends, and holidays Description: The operating room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures. The nurse manages department admissions to the operative suite. Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques. Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans. Serves as a communication liaison to patients and families as well as members of the operating team. Prepares the operating room for the patient and surgical procedure. Assembles equipment and supplies and ensures equipment is functional, with supplies and implants available. Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
