TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified
PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Clinton, Maryland, 20735! Job Title: PACU
Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: PACU
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 4x10-Hour and Night 3x12-Hour Hours
per Shift: 10 hours and 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of
experience required License: Valid state license required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required Must-Have: ICU experience
required Pediatric PACU, Phase I, Phase II recovery, and Pre-post
experience required Two years of experience required First-time
travelers accepted Description: PACU RN required with an ASAP
start. ICU experience is mandatory. Candidates within a 60-mile
radius are accepted at a lower rate. Shifts will include evening
and night rotations with times from 1300 to 2330 and 1900 to 0730.
Call is required from 2300 to 0700, Monday through Friday, as
needed. No weekends and no on-call duties. Previous charge
experience is a plus. Charting experience with the specified system
is required. The unit will see a daily average census of 45
patients. The nursing staff will work with adolescents, adults,
pediatrics, and geriatrics. A patient ratio of 2 is expected during
both day and night shifts. Reference checks are necessary.
Management of pediatric patients and advanced nursing procedures
are key responsibilities. Nurses will be required to perform
assessments, manage medications, and monitor patient conditions.
Participation in interdisciplinary support such as physical
therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy is expected. Team
