We are seeking a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Virginia. This opportunity begins on Apr 6, 2026, and offers clinic coverage Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:15 pm, with nightly weekday call and 24-hour weekend call coverage. The physician will manage high-risk pregnancies and provide specialized maternal-fetal care in a dynamic clinical setting. Job Details Location: Virginia Start Date: Apr 6, 2026 Provider Type Needed: Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician Schedule: Monday to Friday clinic coverage 8:00 am – 4:15 pm, nightly call on weekdays, and 24-hour weekend call coverage Responsibilities and Duties Perform amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling Manage cases involving pre-eclampsia, multiple pregnancy, fetal growth restriction, chromosomal and congenital abnormalities, pre-term labor, and hypertension Address thrombophilia, genetic disorders, and birth defects Oversee management of vaginal and cesarean births Handle any fetal or maternal co-morbidities that make the pregnancy high risk Provide cerclage procedures (preferred) Additional Information Fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine required Board certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine required Active Virginia medical license required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
