registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. Provide specialized nursing care for cardiac surgery
patients in the Stepdown/Telemetry unit, focusing on managing chest
tubes and cardiac dysrhythmias. This contract role is ideal for
experienced RNs with a strong background in cardiac telemetry and
post-ICU patient care. Location: Arlington, VA a vibrant community
known for its rich history, diverse dining, and proximity to the

environment and cultural amenities nearby. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care to cardiovascular surgery patients
transitioning from ICU Monitor and manage chest tubes and cardiac
dysrhythmias with precision Collaborate effectively with
interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Utilize
telemetry monitoring to detect any cardiac irregularities promptly
Complete EPIC clinical documentation following specialized training
Qualifications & Experience: Active Virginia or Compact RN license
at time of application Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications Minimum of 2
years RN experience, with strong cardiac telemetry/stepdown
expertise Proven experience caring for cardiovascular
surgery/telemetry patients, proficient in chest tube management and
dysrhythmia care Previous exposure to EPIC clinical documentation
systems preferred Schedule & Contract Details: Nights, 3 shifts per
week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM 7:30 AM) Every other weekend required
13-week contract assignment with ASAP start, dependent on EPIC
training Additional Info: Flu vaccination required during flu
season (Oct 1 Mar 31) EPIC training provided based on prior
