Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 1 year of ER experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district required Certifications: NIHSS, TNCC, BLS, PALS, and ACLS required Must-Have: BSN highly desired, travel experience preferred Description: The Emergency Department is a fast-paced environment that treats every type of patient. ED nurses manage critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes. Patients range from urgent care needs to psychiatric, pediatric, and critical care/trauma cases. The role involves coordinating and delivering care to patients with complex nursing care needs.
