Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Maintain a sterile environment and ensure all instruments are prepared. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures. Stay updated on the latest surgical techniques and technologies. Monitor patient vitals and report any changes during procedures. Evaluate and improve personal performance based on feedback. Collaborate with surgical team to ensure efficient workflow. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of surgical equipment. Document surgical procedures and maintain accurate patient records. Engage in team meetings to discuss performance metrics and targets. Assist in training new staff and sharing best practices. Experience/Qualifications Certification as a Surgical Technician with First Assist credentials required. Experience in assisting surgical procedures, preferably in a hospital setting. Commitment to ongoing professional development and training opportunities. Strong understanding of sterile techniques and infection control protocols. Ability to monitor and report patient vitals during surgical procedures. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with surgical teams.
