Job Description:
Southern Health Partners, a leader in customized healthcare
services for correctional facilities, is seeking a dedicated and
professional Nursing Team Manager to oversee our nursing staff and
ensure the highest standards of patient care and clinical
practices. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will
manage a team of skilled nurses, fostering an environment that
prioritizes quality care and operational efficiency within a unique
and challenging healthcare setting. This role requires a blend of
clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for innovative
healthcare solutions. Manage and lead a team of nursing
professionals, ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations
and standards. Develop and implement nursing policies and
procedures that align with our mission and healthcare regulations.
Conduct regular team meetings and manage staff schedules to ensure
optimal staffing levels for 24/7 patient care. Evaluate patient
care procedures and make improvements where necessary to ensure the
wellbeing of patients. Manage the budget for the nursing department
and ensure all resources are used efficiently. Collaborate with
other healthcare professionals and departments to facilitate
integrated and comprehensive care. Provide ongoing coaching and
professional development opportunities for the nursing staff.
Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in healthcare
management systems and electronic health records In-depth knowledge
of healthcare regulations, particularly in a correctional
environment Ability to handle high-stress situations and make
critical decisions Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) credential preferred
