Encompass Health Mechanicsburg is seeking a dedicated Dietitian to join our team of healthcare professionals. This role involves assessing patient nutrition needs, developing meal plans, and evaluating patient responses. Our facility aims to provide high-quality, integrated care, enhancing patient outcomes through personalized nutritional strategies. The ideal candidate will be committed to health and wellness, possess excellent communication skills, and exhibit empathy towards patients with life-altering illnesses and injuries. Evaluate patients’ nutritional needs based on comprehensive assessments and medical history. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized meal plans that complement medical therapy. Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to coordinate nutrition interventions and care for patients. Educate patients and their families on nutrition management and healthy eating habits as part of their overall care. Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in their medical records. Participate in continuous education on medical nutrition therapy and share insights with colleagues to improve departmental knowledge. Strong knowledge in clinical nutrition and dietetics. Ability to communicate complex nutritional information clearly. Proficient in dietetic software and patient management systems. Strong organizational and collaborative skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Dietitian (RD) credential or its equivalent required. Licensed to practice in the state (if applicable).
