Radiology Tech Location: Harrisonburg, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,366 per week Shift Information: Nights - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Profession: Technologist Specialty: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied Any Sunday - Saturday Hours per Shift: 0700-2300 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active Driver's License required Certifications: ARRT required Must-Have: ARRT certification Description: Serves over 7,500 care facilities nationwide. Job security and a great team environment are key aspects of the role. ROLE: Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes and health care facilities. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment. Submit and transmit X-Rays to a Radiologist for interpretation. Unload portable X-Ray equipment and take it into facilities to perform exams ordered by physicians. Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-ray images. Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation if required. Scan exam-related paperwork and documents daily per protocol. Regularly communicate with dispatch and management. Interact efficiently and professionally with peers and supervisory staff. Maintain the vehicle and X-ray equipment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands include pushing and pulling between 50 to 100 lbs. Use of vehicle ramps and pulleys will decrease this weight. Expect to push/pull equipment in facilities or homes, which can increase the weight. 50 lbs of force or more may be required 16 to 24 times a day.
