PowerBack Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be essential in providing expert speech therapy to patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or illnesses. Our facility is renowned for its commitment to personalized and intensive rehabilitation treatments, and your expertise will play a vital role in helping our patients regain their independence through improved communication and swallowing functions. Ideal candidates should have a genuine desire to facilitate the recovery process and improve the quality of life for their patients. Evaluate patient speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities. Plan and administer tailored treatment strategies based on patient assessment and medical history. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to design comprehensive treatment plans. Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and family members about communication techniques and strategies to cope with speech and language impairments. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress updates according to industry and facility standards. Exceptional understanding of speech disorders and treatment techniques. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. Strong analytical skills to assess patient conditions and implement appropriate treatments. Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
