Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Medical Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Bluebird Staffing is hiring a Medical Technologist for a contract at a new 20-bed hospital in Central PA! Interviews and offers quickly with the assistance of Bluebird Staffing! Specialty: Medical Technologist Shift: Nightshift 3x12s, 1900-0700 Contract Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: 13 weeks, possible extension opportunity Number of Openings: 1 Guaranteed Hours per week: 36 Package: - $27/hour $1,246 nontaxable stipends = $2,218 gross on 36 hours - $54/hour (OT rate) $1,246 nontaxable stipends = $2,758 gross on 48 hours (possible OT opportunities) Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Biological/Physical Sciences or Medical Laboratory Science, required - Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required - Minimum of 6 years clinical lab experience, required - Experience with IV start, phlebotomy, and initiation of EKG a plus (experience is not required); training is provided and required after hire New 20-bed hospital /nMinimum of 6 years clinical lab experience, required About Bluebird Staffing Bluebird Staffing is a Joint Commission Certified staffing agency that specializes in contract, per diem, and permanent placements for healthcare professionals.
