ROLEOur Technical Delivery Excellence Team's mission is to leverage
lean principles and best practices to help foster optimal delivery
efficiencies within the Enterprise Core Ticketing organization, a
core component of Ticketmaster's ecosystem. - We serve as thought
leaders and influencers, fostering a culture of innovation and
continuous improvements. - We also maintain effective and
trustworthy relationships with business, product and technology
partners to assist agile teams with meeting delivery commitments.
-As the Sr. - Director of Technical Delivery Excellence, you will
help craft and evangelize the Ticketmaster Core Ticketing
engineering strategy of the future, including influencing and
gaining - buy-in - across - all - levels - of - the - company. -
You will work diligently across all of the Technology
organizations, Product groups, and central Program offices to
ensure that the organization's vision is understood and accounted
for across various towers of the company. You will identify
challenges and roadblocks well in advance of them standing in the
way of our engineering teams and will work efficiently to advance
the goals of the organization. - In addition, you will establish
delivery processes to help portfolio leadership reach
organizational performance objectives. - You will directly support
the VP of Engineering to promote transparency and visibility into
progress made towards strategic initiatives and company priorities.
- You will work hand in hand with leadership to ensure that the
organization is well-run, accountable, and data driven. Finally,
you will collect key portfolio metrics to establish data driven
decisions and propose innovative solutions while balancing
organizational priorities, scope and budget. - - - You will train
and guide Technical Delivery Leads on agile methodologies, tools
and processes.RESPONSIBILITIES -Assist with defining and delivering
on the future of Core Ticketing engineering -Help define and
understand "swimlanes" of various teams - -Drive a culture of unity
- bringing previously silo'd groups together towards a common
goalBe an evangelist for the team and its vision -Define and
implement common planning practices across a large technical
organizationAssists Enterprise Engineering Leadership with
organizing engineering teams to deliver value in accordance with
Business and Technical visionCultivate and leverage relationships
within and across organizations to achieve desired
resultsPersuasively communicates thoughts and ideas to achieves
stakeholder buy-in -Mentors senior team members in various areas of
technical delivery, leadership and creative problem-solvingServe as
an escalation point for agile programs to resolve internal and
external challengesDrive and facilitate portfolio-level forums,
such as Steering Committees, Strategic Planning, Portfolio Reviews,
etcEstablish annual calendars for Quarterly Release Planning and
facilitate planning readiness across organizationsCapture portfolio
metrics (i.e., Organizational Agility, Delivery Quality, Program
Productivity, etc) and provide improvement recommendations based on
data collected -Manages Technical Delivery Leads providing
coaching, mentorship and guidance on team duties, performance
reviews and professional development plansREQUIREMENTS15+ years of
experience in implementing and leading a collection of technical
delivery programs/teams within an enterprise technology
organization5+ years managing and developing peopleExperience with
transforming agile delivery organizations and/or teamsExperience
with major transformational programs within large scale
organizationsExperience influencing change across enterprise
organizations and collaborating with senior stakeholders to deliver
solutions (VP, C-Suite level decision makers)Experience building
strategic processes at a portfolio levelExperience as a technical
delivery manager, technical program manager, or similar within
technical teamsExperience working with distributed organizations,
including globally distributed talentExperience with AWS or other
cloud technologiesHold one or more agile certifications (CSM, PSM,
PMI-ACP)Experience leading delivery within Scaled Agile Frameworks
(SAFe)Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
in IT Program Management -YOU (BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES) -

capable of reacting instantly to changes in a competitive business
environment -Excellent verbal and written communication skills
along with interpersonal and influencing skills (at all levels
