Job Description:
Tuknik Government Services (TGS), a Koniag Government Services
(KGS) company,is seeking a remote Java Developer to participates in
design, implementation, and integration of software or
independently performs complex software development tasks related
to records management. This is a direct, full time position
supporting KGS and our client. We offer competitive compensation

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are
not limited to:Formulates /defines specifications for complex
operating software programming applications or modifies/maintains
complex existing applications using engineering releases and
utilities from the manufacturerDesigns, codes, tests, debugs, and
documents those programsProvides overall operating system, such as
sophisticated file maintenance routines, large telecommunications
networks, various middleware, and software programs and
applicationsAssists all phases of software systems programming
applicationsEvaluates new and existing software productsOther
related duties as assignedPosition Requirements:Demonstrated
experience diagnosing/debugging faults in complex services or
distributed systemsExperience with Java and JavaScript in a
Micro-services or web-services based environmentAble to diagnose
and mitigate faultsAble to identify and drive recovery levers with
feature teamsAble to communicate effectively through written and
oral EnglishAbility to perform work under continuous deadline
pressureAbility to identify and script automatable problems,
perform work with efficiency in mindAbility to develop function and
test specifications for software development.Proficient knowledge
of scripting languages (Perl, Python, Java script) for development
of automated testingExperience working with AWS cloud-based
services and toolsInterpersonal skills necessary to work
effectively with customers and multi-cultural teamsAbility to
independently manage multiple projects and deadlinesAbility to work
independently and in a team environmentAbility to communicate
(verbally and written) in a clear, concise manner Experience
Requirement:Minimum five (5) years of experience
diagnosing/debugging faults in complex online services-based
architectures using Java Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
years' experience Other Requirement(s): This position requires U.S.
Citizenship or a Green Card holder and the ability to obtain and
maintain a government public trust level security clearance. For a
candidate that is a Green Card holder, they must have lived in the
United States for at least three out of the past five years prior
to your application date. You will also meet the residency
qualifications if you lived abroad while on government or military
duty or if you were a dependent of a federal employee of military
member.Working Environment & ConditionsThis job operates in a
professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low
to moderate.This role routinely uses standard office equipment such
as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax
machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a
standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to
moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands
to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with
hands and arms; talk and hear. The work load may require the
incumbent to sit for extended periods of time.The incumbent must be
able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate
amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move
up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include
close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and
