Job SummaryAerospace's Information Systems and Cyber Division
(ISCD) is seeking a Principal Engineer/Tech Fellow. To support
strategic external and internal activities on behalf of the
Division. ISCD performs R&D, rapid prototyping, and program
integration for several Information Technologies (IT) including
Cybersecurity, Cloud Deployments, SW Development and SW Systems
Engineering. As a Principal Engineer/Tech Fellow you will be asked
to support strategic customer engagement, Enterprise Engineering,
advanced R&D concepts, and Business Development to support
approximately 20 departments within the division. Additionally, the
selected candidate will support strategic internal corporate
activities on behalf of the organization.This position is a
Part-Time position located in the Chantilly, VAWhat You'll Be
Doing
- Support strategic customer engagements
- Create additional value for existing product lines within the
division
- Support Enterprise Engineering by connecting customers across
the backplane
- Presenting ISCD accomplishments and internal positions at
conferences
- Support Corporate level strategic activities
- Develop new business opportunities for traditional and new
customers
- Support the development of ISCD related papers to the Aerospace
Center for Space Policy and Strategy
- Mentoring and finding opportunities for junior or mid-career
staff
- Delivering demonstrations and capabilities briefs to new
customersWhat You Need to be Successful Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Electrical
Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Security, or another
related field
- Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in Information
Technology, Cybersecurity, Software Development, Space Systems
Architecture, or related fields
- Providing leadership and strategic influence to the Space
ISAC
- Experience in influencing senior customers across the U.S.
Government, Intelligence and Civil communities
- Experience developing and executing strategic plans
- Experience influencing US Government policy
- Experience working on internal corporate teams to execute
strategic strategy and outcomes
- Driving outcomes on research and development efforts to gain
customer adoption and influence
- Experience leading highly technical teams
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication
skills for interactions at all organizational levels
- Consistent track record establishing and maintaining effective
and influential relationships across FFRDCs, Sr. Customer and
peers
- Willing to travel domestically up to 25%
- Current and active Top-Secret clearance with Sensitive
Compartmented Information access (TS/SCI) government clearanceHow
