Responsibilities:Seeking analysis-driven Senior-level Database
Administrator (DBA) candidates to join Peraton's dynamic
Performance Engineering and Analysis team, a recognized
Intelligence Community leader with decades of expertise in
providing customers with data-driven analysis shaping the
architecture of the future. Come join our team in exciting analysis
crossing agency boundaries and providing solutions which address
the exponential growth in GEOINT data in the context of modernizing
infrastructure, content, CONOPS, services, and cloud-enabled tools
and applications.The Senior-level Database Administrator (DBA) is
responsible for the creation, maintenance, backup, querying,
tuning, user rights administration, and security of business and
mission databases. Ensures database security, integrity, stability
and system availability.Duties include:Identifies user requirements
for business and mission databases, sets-up, tests and coordinates
necessary modifications to database systems. Ensures the
performance of the database system.Plans and coordinates security
measures -data integrity, backup systems, and database
security.Administration of Linux / Windows virtual machines to
include the installation of patches and troubleshooting, creating
and modifying application related objects, creating profiles,
users, roles and maintaining system security.Defines file
organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for
specific user applications.Oversees the work of Mid-, and
Junior-level contractor DBAs.Coordinates changes, tests, and
provides implementation approaches for databases and database
management systems.Maintains the virtual server AWS environment to
include creating, imaging, and terminating instances as required.
Building out new AMIs based upon customer approved AMIs. Updating
security groups, creating/deleting S3 buckets, and any other AWS
Envoirnomental tasks as required.Works cloud implementations and
cloud migration process to integrate applications into the AWS
cloud environment.Qualifications:BS 10-12, MS 8-10, Phd 5-7Skills
and Experience:Required:Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering,
Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information
Systems, or related STEM degree program, or equivalent Senior level
experience as a Database Administrator.Senior-level working
experience in database administration.One or more of the following
certifications:IBM Certified Advanced Database Administrator - DB2
10.1 for Linux, Unix and WindowsBM Certified Database Administrator
- DB2 10.1 for Linux, Unix, and WindowsOracle Database 12c
Administrator Certified ProfessionalOracle MySQL 5.6 Database
Administrator Certified ProfessionalMCSA SQL Server 2012MCSE Data
Platform SolutionsDesired:Master's degree in Engineering, Computer
Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or
related STEM degree program.Windows Server and/or RedHat Enterprise
Linux system admin experienceProficiency and experience with AWS
developer tools and workflows (AWSCLI, CloudFormation)Working
knowledge of continuous integration and delivery tools (e.g. Git,
Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, etc.)Knowledge of script / programming
languages (HTML, JavaScript, JAVA, C#)A team player capable of high
performance and flexibility in a dynamic working
environmentExcellent written and verbal skillsPeraton

customers.Salary Range: Salary Minimum: $72,500 Salary Mid:
$145,000 Salary Maximum: $181,300 The estimate displayed represents
the typical salary range for this position, and is just one
component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
