Job Description:

L3Harris is looking for a self-starting, team-oriented Lead Software Cloud Architect to join our dynamic development team in supporting a Government customer. The team is building a large-scale enterprise application in the national security space domain using web technologies, distributed computation and storage frameworks, and sophisticated, cutting-edge domain analytics, with the system hosted on virtualized and cloud-computing platforms. The Lead Software SME will guide the software team by aligning development needs with customer expectations and requirements. Support to the team will involve performing analysis with software tools supporting modeling and simulation. This position is within L3Harris's Space Domain Awareness division.

Essential Functions:

• Architect and implement AWS/C2S cloud based services for large enterprise software systems.
• Cloud and infrastructure systems design and implementation.
• Install, configure & integrate DevSecOps pipelines across cloud development environments.
• Deployiand use the AWS/C2S provisioning portal to provision cloud services for applications/microservices.
• Knowledgeable of Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes (Rancher) tools.
• Network, configure and design.
• Use agile development practices. Qualifications:
  • Active Top Secret or TS/SCI, consent to CI Poly
  • 9+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Software, Aerospace, Space Systems or other Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related discipline. Alternatively, 7 years of prior related experience with a Graduate Degree.
  • Experience working with software development teams and associated Agile development processes
  • Experience deploying and using the AWS/C2S provisioning portal to provision cloud services for applications/microservices.
  • 8+ years of experience with cloud and infrastructure systems design and implementation.
  • Experienced in gaining trust of direct customer, their end user/operators, and a development team Preferred Additional Skills:
    • Active TS/SCI security clearance w/CI Poly
