Job Description:
Description The Intelligence Group at Leidos is seeking a
Technical Trainer to support designs, develops, and revises complex
interactive courses of a technical nature. Ensures integrity of
task analysis, training requirements, training hierarchies,
instructional materials, and evaluation plans. Converts written
materials and/or training requirements to courseware. Experience
working with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy of
instructional content. Develops course manuals, training aids, and
audio/video materials to enhance training. The candidate must have
experience with industry-standard instructional design practices,
as well as data collection instruments, data collection and
analysis, developing or creating project management plans, and
designing learning assessments.Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute all facets of training development various
trainings.
- Conduct needs assessments and training needs analyses,
including gap analysis, contextual analysis and root-cause
analysis.
- Select, design and finalize training documentation
- Prepare instructional materials from technical source data
- Present training materials to a large audience
- Evaluate training requirements
- Identify the resources necessary to implement the plan and
ensure that training is conducted in accordance with the plan.
- Create and conduct training evaluations, both formative and
summative, across all levels for maximum impact
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with training
project plans and schedules.
- Manage and execute all aspects of training projects, including
schedules, resources, and scopeBasic Qualifications:
- Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI with poly
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience
or a Master's Degree and 8 years in a technical hands on role
- Must have experience as with facilitating trainingDemonstrated
experience in the following:
- Formal instruction or experience with creating training
plans
- Provide assessments such as independent assessments, student
evaluations, etc
- Strong writing, verbal, report presentation skills
- Identifying performance gaps or learning needs
- Using empirical data to make decisions
- Demonstrates initiative and strong problem solving
- Ensuring instructional solutions address performance gaps
- Identifying and making improvements to instruction
- Designing instructional strategies that engage, motivate, or
are learner-centered
- Using face-to-face, online, and blended learning
strategies
- Developing project management plans for projects
- Collaborating across functional teams
- Team player yet able to work independently.
- Provide process improvements and support to
implementation.Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a facilitator Pay Range: Pay Range
$75,400.00 - $136,300.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is
a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or
salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include
(but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education,
experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal
equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement
(if any), or other law.
