Responsibilities Peraton seeks an mid-level Applications Programmer / Developer for our team located near Herndon, VA. The Application Programmer will be responsible for: Developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining complex applications and/or databases. Drafting technical program documentation, such as end-user operational instructions. Developing and maintaining software applications and/or databases, including web applications and user interfaces. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other Technical field with 8+ years of related experience. (An additional 4+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.) An active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph Prior experience in: Software Development Lifecycle Software design patterns Agile development processes and implementation. Secure coding standards Requirements creation/management and configuration management tools Configuration/change management systems Integration and debugging using integrated development environments (IDE) Developing software tests and test-automation suites. Providing software maintenance, support and enhancements to existing systems and platforms.
