We are seeking a Systems Administrator/Engineer to be a crucial
pillar in the robustness of our IT infrastructure. This includes a
dynamic mix of on-premises and cloud-based systems. Your primary
responsibilities will center around maintaining the integrity of
our systems through rigorous patch management and security
measures, alongside providing expert support for application
troubleshooting across Linux and Windows environments. You will
play a pivotal role in safeguarding our infrastructure while
collaborating with our DevOps team to explore opportunities to
apply DevSecOps principles and leverage cloud technologies where
Patch Management and Security:
Manage the deployment of security patches and updates for both
Windows and Linux operating systems across diverse on-premises and
cloud-based hosts, spanning multiple domains.
Maintain constant vigilance to ensure systems are up to date with
the latest security measures.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to diagnose and
resolve application issues.
Work closely with application development teams to support
applications and access.
Security and Access Control:
Lead the creation, management, and maintenance of user and security
Implement and promote security best practices to safeguard
Minimum of 6 years of experience in setting up and maintaining
Windows and Linux operating systems, accounts, and system
Familiarity with hybrid on-premises and cloud environments;
experience with cloud technologies is a valuable asset.
Strong knowledge of security best practices and access control.
Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting operating system
issues related to the deployment of applications.
A profound passion for technology and a steadfast commitment to
Active Top-Secret clearance.
Willingness to work five days on site in Chantilly, VA.
Bonus points if you have:
Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like
Ansible Automation Platform, AWS CloudFormation, or Terraform.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, AWS
EKS, Kubernetes, or others.
Experience with deployment and management of cloud infrastructure,
compute, and cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure, GPC, etc)
Experience with Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies
depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to
the specific office location, role, skill set and level of
experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services
provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be
hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set
forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role
California: $111,400 - 180,700
Colorado: $111,400 - 156,100
New York City: $129,100 - 180,700
Washington: $118,700 - 166,100
