Position Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer-Salesforce.com, you will be responsible for highly complex coding and configurations of Saleforce.com CRM platform using various software solutions, managing small sections of ongoing projects and closely adhering to deadlines..

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

? Specifies designs, implements, tests and supports software configurations and customizations for the CRM platform. Updates and develops software and provides customer support.

?

? Develop a thorough understanding of the problem domain (utilizing inception and elaboration artifacts) and effectively aligning it with the software engineering domain to produce an architectural, software, and resource assessment for platform success.

?

? Manage the assignment and coordination of technical activities and the delivery of technical artifacts, utilizing appropriate tools and protocols to effectively communicate this information to the customer and the software development support services.

?

? Develops increasing expertise in key software development and system implementation technologies. Develops experience and expertise in problem definition, requirements analysis and the general design of systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor?s degree in computer science or a related subject, plus additional related college courses or professional training and minimum of five years of progressively responsible directly-related experience.

Other Requirements:

? Minimum 5-7 years of relevant engineering experience.

? Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience as a Saleforce.com Engineer/Administrator, with technical implementation and day to day operations experience a plus.

? Salesforce Admin Certification is a plus.

? Strong and evolving competence in several programming languages and technologies, mastery of multiple tools sets, technologies and implementation environments.

? Advanced experience with a variety of development languages (Apex, Visualforce, .NET, Java, Crystal Reports, SQL Server, XML, etc.).Perform data imports, fulfill ad hoc data requests, data integrity and manipulation tasks such as merging duplicate records and establishing proper ownership of existing accounts and contacts.

? Advanced knowledge of programming language, relational database management systems, networking technology, multiple desk operating systems and multiple server operating systems

? Familiarity with Rational Tool Set

? Fundamentals in OO and computer science foundation principles.

? Knowledge of systems analysis and design and database design

? Knowledge of software development lifecycle and modern software engineering principles and practices

? Ability to focus on the goals of quality, time and budget

? Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments simultaneously and effectively in a cross-functional team environment

? Experience with the use of Salesforce APIs (via java, etc.) to integrate Salesforce with other tools.

? Experience with Agile software development and use of Jira Issue and Project tracking software.

? Strong functional and technical documentation skills.
