Remote You have been redirected to RTX's career page as we have recently transitioned from RTX to become a standalone company, which provides us with greater autonomy and opportunities for growthAs a prospective employee of Nightwing, you'll have the chance to contribute to our continued success and shape the future of our cybersecurity, intelligence, and services offeringsThe Database Administrator provides technical expertise for database implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysisIn this role, you will support the development of relational and/or Object-Oriented databases, database parser software, and database loading softwareThis role works primarily at the front end of the lifecycle-requirements through system acceptance testing and Initial Operational Capability (IOC)You will develop requirements from a project's inception to its conclusion for a particular business and Information Technology (IT) subject matter area (i.e., simple to complex systems)The DBA assists with recommendations for, and analysis and evaluation of systems improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance effortsThis role requires an individual to turn a set of requirements and data into a usable document by creating or recreating ad hoc queries, scripts, and macros; updates existing queries, creates new ones to manipulate data into a master file; and builds complex systems using queries, tables, Open Database Connectivity and database storage and retrieval using Cloud methodologiesIn this role, the DBA will administrator on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity Maintain the integrity, security, and availability of database(s) Establish and maintain database user accounts Administer, maintain, and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of database(s) Organize and format data for efficient query and storage processes Evaluate requirements and recommend available DBMS products Provide server administration with a variety of database products that include Oracle, SQL Server, and SYBASE Perform disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data Develop policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of database(s) Perform database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability Support data modeling activities by way of prototype database implementations Coordinate database architecture changes with Database Engineers (DBEs) Direct the monitoring, administrating, and implementing performance on database systems as well as database performance optimization, developing./changing database indices, redesigning database structure and reloading data into a database Direct the installation of database management systems, databases, tables, and views Directs the administration and use of current and emerging database tools, strategies, and technologies TS/SCI with polygraph required Day 1 The candidate must have: AWS CSA Oracle Professional Experience with SharePoint, SQL, VMWare, Tableau, Jira It is desired the candidate have: Experience with Mongo and/or Postgres Experience with MarkLogic About Cybersecurity, Intelligence and Services The Cybersecurity, Intelligence and Services (CIS) business provides technically advanced full-spectrum cyber, data operations, systems integration and intelligence mission support services to meet our customers' most demanding challengesOur capabilities include cyber space operations, cyber defense and resiliency, vulnerability research, ubiquitous technical surveillance, data intelligence, lifecycle mission enablement, and software modernizationCIS brings disruptive technologies, agility, and competitive offerings to customers in the intelligence community, defense, civil, and commercial markets Previously part of a leading Fortune 100 company and headquartered in Dulles, VA;
