This role represents Legal Affairs - Public Sector the Legal
department in support of enterprise-wide projects, product launches
and changes to existing offerings by analyzing business,
organizational and/or operational processes to ensure they comply
with applicable laws, company policies, practices and contracts
requirements. In addition to the risk assessment duties, this
position is also responsible for project management such as
eliciting, documenting, tracing and validating Legal requirements
for enterprise-wide projects as well as Legal department-lead
projects.What you'll do in your role.
- Manage all aspects of multiple enterprise projects throughout
the project life cycle on behalf of the Public Sector Legal
department
- Perform legal analysis across many business functions for the
creation of new products and services and translate that legal
analysis into clear and unambiguous requirements for business
teams.
- Act as liaison between all legal functions, and between legal
and enterprise project teams.
- Translate legal requirements into operational and technical
requirements; articulate and document legal requirements to
business and IT stakeholders.
- Review and edit enterprise project documents as needed,
including serving as a legal 'approver' of key business
requirements documents.
- Conduct validation and traceability of legal requirements
across project life cycle.
- Audit and review legal deliverables, written/digital materials,
agreements, trainings, etc. for accuracy and compliance with
applicable laws and company policy.
- Identify legal and consumer issues and risks on the project,
triage risks and own resolution of risks and issues. Work with
cross-functional project teams to develop creative solutions to
balance the enterprise goals with the legal/regulatory risks.
- Raise issues of significant risk and broker appropriate
discussions so that Senior Leaders on the project and within legal
can effectively discuss risk tolerances and make strategic
decisions for moving the project forward in the 'right' way.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
using strong interpersonal skills and diplomacy
- Lead and contribute to the effectiveness of a team that
integrates multiple business functions and legal disciplines.
- Manage tracking of contract obligations and periodic audit and
review of contract provisions, ensuring consistency across multiple
teams and tracking platforms.
- Create, implement and manage workflows for recurring tasks and
requests directed to the Public Sector Legal department.
- Manage library of resources & templates for the Public Sector
Legal department, and lead efforts on integrating new data
analytics and artificial intelligence tools.
- Create presentations and information sheets related to ongoing
projects, compliance, and legal matters.
- Experience with Salesforce Contract Lifecycle Management
software, Microsoft Copilot, Power BI, and SharePoint desired.
- Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by
business management as needed.The experience you'll bring.
- Due to support of certain Federal programs, U.S. citizenship is
required
- 7+ years' experience in paralegal or legal project management
role
- Competency with all Microsoft Office products & Adobe
- Familiarity with Salesforce preferred
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task
across many assignments with some direction
- Strong oral communication, presentation and technical writing
skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and diplomacy
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimal travel required* At least 18 years of age* Legally
authorized to work in the United StatesT-Mobile requires U.S.
