protect our freedom.We are seeking a skilled Cloud Systems
Administrator with expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join
our technology-based program supporting a key Government customer.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our customer's
Cloud infrastructure in support of this customer's mission,
ensuring the smooth operation of all systems within the Cloud
environment, and leveraging AWS technologies to optimize
performance and scalability. Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the customer's cloud infrastructure,
including EC2 Instances, networks, and cloud services
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot AWS services such as EC2,
S3, RDS, and VPCs
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular security scans
and audits to ensure data integrity and protection
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify technical
requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, resolving
issues in a timely manner
- Implement best practices for backup, disaster recovery, and
system redundancy
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cloud
computing and IT systems administration
- ABCRequired Education, Experience, & Skills We are actively
seeking Cloud Systems Administrators with a minimum of 11 years'
experience. Bachelor's or Master's Degrees are preferred in one or
more of the disciplines described below where specific skills may
include the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
or related field
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, with a focus on
AWS cloud technologies
- Strong understanding of systems administration concepts,
protocols, and security best practices
- Experience in running security scans using a variety of tools,
analyzing the findings, and mitigating those finding associated
with the Cloud environment and coordinating with the team for
resolution of the remainder
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a
fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with a wide variety of Cloud technologies and
solutions architectures is a plus (AWS, Google, Azure, Oracle
etc)
- Broad understanding of technical principles, theories and
concepts in the Systems Administrator field
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art systems engineering principles
and cloud design concepts
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell,
or Bash is a plus
- SecDevOps experience with automation experience is
preferred
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator,
AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred but not required Pay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
