The answer is an information security risk specialist like you who will break down complex threats into manageable plans of action.As an information security risk specialist on our team, youll use your experience to work with national security and intelligence community clients to discover their cyber risks, understand policies, and develop mitigation plans. Youll review technical and environmental details to assess the entire threat landscape. Then, youll guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, whitepapers, and milestones. Youll work with your client to translate security concepts, directives, and controls into action, so they can make the best decisions to secure their mission-critical systems. The world cant wait.You Have:6+ years of experience with IT and cybersecurityExperience as an ISSO, ISSE, or ISSMKnowledge of performing assessment and authorization activity for Intelligence Community customers in accordance with ICD 503 requirementsTS/SCI clearance with a polygraphHS diploma or GEDNice If You Have:Experience with ICD 503, CNSS, NIST requirements, processes, and controls and control implementationExperience with cyber defense and vulnerability assessment toolsExperience with operating systems, platforms, and technologies, including Windows, Linux, cloud, virtualization, or wirelessKnowledge of customer IT systems, requirements, and processes for information assurance, assessment, and authorization activitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPossession of excellent verbal and written communication skillsBachelor's degreeAdvanced Cybersecurity Certifications, including Security +, GSEC, or CISSPClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.Create Your Career:Grow With UsYour growth matters to usthats why we offer a variety of ways for you to develop your career. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
